I'm not sure if Toby is dead... I really hope he's not because I'm a huge Spoby fan (despite what others think of the ships in the show). But why "kill" Toby if he was leaving for Maine anyways? What does this contribute to the show? What's the purpose?

Marlene King did say that it would be difficult to say to Keegan that Toby was going to die so i think that he won't die he is just unconsious .

Maybe he will be in a coma until the second to last episode and he will wake up knowing who A is.

I've watched some of their snap chats from the set from 7B doesn't show anything revealing. Trust me, I looked. But, Toby is on set, present and accounted for. He is also suppose to be in atleAst the very last episode. So Toby is alive. Toby being gone for awhile and then suddenly popping back into Rosewood is nothing new. He's been doing it since it first started. First it was for work, the it was for work, which was really the A team. Maybe he will leave this time to finally solve the big mystery of who uber A is. Maybe he comes back to marry Dpencer. There's suppose to be a year time jump so maybe that's for the weddings.

Toby being in the last episode doesn't mean much. As it is the finale, we will probably get flashbacks and the like to some of the major characters that are "no longer with us". Wilden, Jessica, Charlotte, Maya atc Maybe Toby among them. As I said elsewhere, if they kill Toby off then I would like it to be with more emotion than just having his death be a cliffhanger.

Like PLLspariall said I don't think its any way Toby dead. Marlene just wanted a cliffhanger I would be completely shocked if he is dead and for PLLspariall when does the one year time jump suppose to happen first time I've heard of it.

I don't think Toby is dead. But if they did kill him I can only think of it being just life in general. Accidents happen that's out of our control at times. I think it would be dumb to kill him off with out purpose but then again people die everyday. They haven't followed the book super, super close so maybe it won't happen. He is a fan favorite after all. Maybe with this wreck and Spencer getting shot its an eye opener for them to not take each other for granted???

Yea I just don't see anyway they would kill Toby off this way if he died saving Spencer I would say its possible but I can't see its anyway he would die of a freak accident even if AD has something to do with it

I am strongly in favour of Toby dying in some way that acts as a homage to his death in the book series. Now that he knows he can never truly leave Rosewood, and having lost Yvonne (probably) there is a chance for that to happen.

The last epsoide is called til death do us part and Toby is given at Least Speaking lines since Marlene posted a picture of his character's line saying i use to know a girl who liked to say hope breeds eternal misery.
Considering he has a speaking line IAm 100% sure he's not dead
