I think her friendship with Ali has something to do with why she isn't harmed as much by A as the other girls are. I don't think Ali is A, but I think they do have a connection.
All of the other girls have odd friendships with Ali. A wants to do everything in A's power to make Ali look like A. If Ali held deep secrets of the other girls but not of Aria than A won't want to stalk her as much because Ali wouldn't have been able to.
used to like aria.
I could write about Aria for days- in distaste, not in glorifying her.
I don't even know what to write, because there's so much to say [negatively] about her.
Some days I dislike her, other days I like her, but most of the time, she's my number-one 'A' suspect.
Yeah me too, but on the other hand, if she was abducted or something, we would only see her cry more... And I'm really tired of seeing Aria cry all the time or doing stupid things.
Good point CoccinelleElena!!!
I think the solution to this whole Aria getting boring thing would be that Aria met a new cute guy (no hate, I just find Ezra super disgusting) or that we'd find out that Aria's A.
Her story started off on an interesting idea. Her father had cheated on her mother with one of his students and she was helping him keep it from her. They leave on a one year trip in order to try and put things behind them. In a twist of irony, she began having an illegal relationship with her teacher the day they return to her hometown.
However, her story has pretty much stopped there. After nearly 5 years of this show, her father's secret is out, and nobody seems to care if she dates Ezra, not even the cops. Beyond that, she has nothing. Everything resorts to being all about Ezra, because the writers have, for whatever reason, done nothing with her. She's just......there. She doesn't even really participate in the A mystery. I don't think she ever really has, to be honest. People use this as a reason to say she is A, but unfortanately, I don't think that will be the case. The sad truth is, Aria is just a useless character that was never grown to her full potential because I guess the writers didn't know what to do with her beyond the initial concept. (Makes me wonder if the writers even thought the show would last longer than 2 years or so.)
On the flip side, Spencer has had too many things going on, but that's a topic for another day.
She actually met him while they were on their family trip. She didn't know he was a teacher until she got back. They tried to break off their relationship, but I think the fact that it had to be kept a secret was very captivating to them. Why they are still together, I don't have the answer to.
Uber A manages to kill Mike, Aria has a mental breakdown and goes to Radley not to be seen or heard from until the series finale episode
^^ Is this in the books, that she met Ezra on a family vacation? I haven't read them. On the show she meets him in a bar after she drops Mike off at school for practice.
