  • I just watched "A liars guide to Rosewood" and a question came to my mind...

In "A dAngerous gAme" Mona tells the girls that Red Coat went to her when she was in Radley and offered her to join forces... but in "UnmAsked" Mona tells Red Coat "I did everything you told me to", implying that they already were in contact before...otherwise, what could have Mona done to the liars while she was in Radley?

    • She never was. It's apparent that "Big A" as fellow fans like to call him/her was the original "A". This "A" used anyone with a strong enough grudge against Alison/her friends, or someone with a need to protect them by joining said team in hopes of finding out who the original "A" is a la Toby. Mona has the first two locked so she was obviously one to look up. In the Season 3 finale she revealed to the girls that she never even knew who Red Coat was and that her bringing them to the mansion was to find out, later revealed as Madame Cece Drake. And we believe that Cece isn't even original "A", that "A has too much power, too much connections and money to employ those many people, blackmail and is extrememly smart enough to come up with those various ploys of mindbanging the Liars.

Remember Toby took a more front row "A" role for Radley Mona and also she could easily get out of there.

    • I remeber reading somewhere that producers said the original A was Mona: she was the A who threatened Ali and she was the only A in the first two seasons. That's why we figure out that Mona is A at the end of season two. Moreover, you write

"In the Season 3 finale she revealed to the girls that she never even knew who Red Coat was",

but in the very same episode she says "I made a deal with the devil [...] at first it was fun, having a partner, but then the game changed, she stole you from me". This confirms once again that she was the only A for a while. Namely, for the first months of Mona in Radley, the liars get no messages and no threatens whatsoever.

No no no!! Producers have said like THOUSAND times that MONA was THE ORIGINAL A .. somebody (called THE BIG A) took all the stuff over from her.

So, your theory is all wrong.
