The Liars gather at Alison's house and Spencer tells them how she messed up. Hanna lectures her, Emily tries to ease the amount of pressure Hanna is putting on her, but Hanna angrily questions why Spencer was drunk. Spencer heavily implies that she was drunk because she just found out Caleb cheated on her with Hanna. Hanna realizes and calms down. Emily suggests that if the slip disappears then so does Furey's proof of Spencer's involvement, she offers to go in and take it or destroy it because she knows where the paper work was while she worked at The Radley. Hanna interrupts her saying that she will get the slip. Aria questions what if someone sees Hanna, Alison adds what if Lucas sees Hanna. Hanna tells Alison not to bring him up. Episode 16 The Glove That Rocks the Cradle 0250

Caleb tells The Liars the plan to shut off the security system for 10 minutes

At The Brew, Ezra has a meeting with Jillian about the book launch. He's mad that Aria can't be included in talking about the book because it's just talking points about him and Nicole's relationship and their life. She tries her best and tells him that he should have waited until after the book launch to get engaged, which makes it awkward for Aria to talk about Nicole. At Lucas' loft, Hanna, Caleb, and Spencer talk about how she is going to get the slip. Caleb states that Ashley Marin (Hanna's Mom) hired him to create a security system, which he did. So he is the one who knows how to get past it... for 10 minutes. Hanna questions why he made the system like that. Caleb tells them it's a safety feature. If it's shut off for more than 10 minutes, the security company is alerted. The game board starts up behind them, and Hanna is mad at it's interruption. The game chooses Hanna. It tells Hanna via the phone to "Pick up my homework, or go to detention. Remember prison food makes you fat." it then gives her an address to drop if off to. Aria gets a message from A.D stating that Hanna thinks it's her turn but Aria is also going to take a turn, but for A.D.... Much later on, Caleb and Hanna arrive back at the loft and are arguing about whether Caleb gets to tag along. Caleb doesn't want her in danger but Hanna tells him the only danger she's in is being bored to death as it's a computer repair shop. She tells him she owes Spencer, he asks why, and she tells him that Spencer would not have gotten trashed that night if he hadn't cheated on her with Hanna. He tells her it doesn't mean she needs to complete her turn solo. She tells him that the only thing scarier than the game is losing a friend over it.

Spencer helps Emily out with building the nursery while venting about being scared that Furey could solve the case

At Alison's house, Emily is putting together an object for the nursery with Spencer. Spencer is scared that if this plan doesn't work and Furey moves faster, their friends are going to "tar and feather" her. Emily tells Spencer the girls are just concerned about the situation. Spencer thinks about getting him alone to make him drop it because he still cares about her but Emily tells her not to overestimate his feelings for her, it's slippery. Spencer then questions if Emily is overestimating and assuming her situation with Alison, which leads to Emily questioning why she's judging her, Alison and their situation, telling her that she and Alison are exploring new territory. Back at Ezra's apartment, Ezra informs Aria that he is expected to do the press tour alone, because Aria isn't apart of the story or the happy ending. Ezra says that he is not doing it but Aria asks him to. Aria tells him that selling the book will help them build a future, and she doesn't feel comfortable answering questions that will be asked about Nicole. Ezra tells her it doesn't feel right not having her there when the book would not exist without Aria. Aria says that she will be there just not answering questions.

Spencer tries to get Furey to drop the case, but he refuses

In the loft, Caleb connects the hard drive that Hanna picked up. There's only one file on there and it's a song, specifically a Patsy Cline song. Hanna tells Caleb that another song by the same artist was played in the dollhouse, so it's a message. At Furey's apartment, Spencer arrives. Despite Emily telling her not to, she tries to get the charges dropped. He is cold to her but she tries to make him understand that although the situation has changed she is the same person he did all the fun things with. Furey agrees but points out that he doesn't know her well. Spencer counter points that she knows him and he is fair and decent. Furey calls attention more to the fact that she is currently involved in a murder. Spencer tries to excuse it by saying that Dunhill was a monster who deserves to die in the same way he lived. Furey remarks that the justice system exists for a reason. Spencer angrily hits back that "justice is just another way of saying that people should get what they deserve." Furey dismisses this and tells her he understands why she would want him dead, but his job is to figure who broke the law not why. Spencer tells him that she is not asking him to lie, just to let this case go, something he can't do. When Furey leaves to take a call, she spots a USB drive about Lucas, takes it and leaves.
