Nancy Partha, along with her husband Elliot, is the dinner guest of Byron and Ella Montgomery in "Surface Tension." The two are invited, as Elliot is a colleague of Byron's, who also works at Hollis College.

Nancy and Elliot have a newborn child that they leave at home to come to the Montgomery's dinner. They worry about him all throughout the evening, especially Elliot, who is seen on the phone asking whether the child seems anxious that they are gone. When Aria offers to babysit for them when needed, Nancy jokes that the background check and blood sampling process will be short.
