• He is close friends with Joseph Dougherty, Maya Goldsmith and Bryan Holdman outside of the show.
• Out of the twenty-three episodes he directed, nine of them were scripted by Joseph Dougherty himself. 
• He is the only director to have directed scripts written by all major writers on the show. He never directed a script written by Kyle Bown, Kateland Brown or Francesca Rollins.
• In 2018, he reunited with I. Marlene King in the new series, Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists in a Co-Executive Producer / Director position.
• He was married to Davyd Whaley in 2008, during a brief legal window in California, and remained legally married to him until Davyd's death on October 15, 2014.
