Brant Daugherty is an American model and actor. He is best known for his role as Noel Kahn on Pretty Little Liars. Before being given the role of Noel, Daugherty auditioned for the roles of Ezra Fitz and Toby Cavanaugh.
Life and Career
In 2013, he was a regular on Lifetime's Army Wives as Patrick Clarke. In the same year, he had a credited role in Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer's comedy film, The Starving Games, which was released in Fall 2013.
In 2014, he appeared in the popular FX series Anger Management. Brant was then a contestant on the 17th season of Dancing with the Stars, where he placed 17th overall.
He played Thomas Pearson for the Private Webisodes on Alloy Entertainment.
On February 20th, 2016 several news outlets reported that he had signed on to play the role of Luke Sawyer, the bodyguard Christian Grey employs to look after his wife, Anastasia, in Fifty Shades Freed. This was revealed by Fifty Shades author E.L. James on social media. The character will make his debut in the third film of the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise.(Source 1) (Source 2)
On February 27, 2018, he announced his engagement to his long-time girlfriend, Kim Hidalgo. He also stated that he had proposed a few weeks earlier while the couple were in Amsterdam, and that she had said yes.

Trivia
- He auditioned for the role of Ezra Fitz first, but they didn't think he was old enough to play the part, but they kept in mind for another role. He was called back after the show was picked up to series for Toby Cavanaugh, but didn't book it. He was then called in a week later to read for the role of Noel Kahn, and booked the part.
- He started filming for PLL a week after his audition.
- He started acting in High School, after he landed a role in the school play.
- His first job in show business was as a production assistant.
- Brant once had to take himself out of the running for a part on the vastly popular drama, Days of Our Lives due to scheduling conflicts. However, he was later offered a different role by the show's producers.
